The Neighborhood Council can only be effective with the support and help of the Westwood community. There are several ways to get involved and help us make Westwood a better place, beginning with letting us know when there is a problem in Westwood. You can let us know by using our online contact system, or in person at the beginning of one of our board meetings by making public comment. Our upcoming meetings are listed on our home page. We can also help keep you abreast of important neighborhood issues via our mailing list, which you can join to the left. Our community calendar can also keep you informed about community events and meetings across Westwood.
There are always a number of issues and problems facing us here in Westwood, which you can read about in our issues section. Advocating for the Westwood community on city wide issues is an important part of what we do, so please contact us for more information about any of the issues you would like to get involved with and advocate for (or against).
You can also attend our general board meetings to make public comment about any issue we are discussing and ensure that your voice is heard by the board. Additionally, you can attend committee meetings or even apply to be a full time committee member to help us improve Westwood.
